PostureTerms of Service
Apple's Standard EULA also applies to App Store apps; these terms supplement it and must not conflict with it.
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using Posture, you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
Posture is for people 18 and older. The app asks you to confirm you are 18 or older before use.
3. What Posture is, and is not
Posture is a general-wellness app for posture awareness and a daily corrective-exercise habit. It offers an optional posture screening that produces estimates shown with a confidence range.
Posture is not a medical device and is not a medical service. It does not provide medical advice and does not replace professional care. A screening is an estimate, not a verdict, and never replaces a qualified professional. Do not rely on Posture for any medical decision.
4. Your health and safety
Exercise carries inherent risk. Move within a comfortable range and stop if you feel any pain. If you are pregnant, recovering from an injury or procedure, or managing a health concern, check with a qualified professional before you begin. You use the routines voluntarily and assume responsibility for exercising safely. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any injury or outcome arising from your use of the app.
5. Subscriptions
Posture offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Posture Premium, handled by Apple.
- A free trial, if offered, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- The subscription renews automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Apple handles all billing; refunds are handled by Apple under their policies.
- Prices may change; you will be notified as required and can cancel before any change takes effect.
The free tier remains usable without a subscription.
6. Acceptable use
Use Posture for your own personal, non-commercial wellness. Do not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app except as permitted by law or the Apple EULA.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its content, and its design are owned by the developer or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the app, consistent with the Apple EULA.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer's total liability arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
These Terms may be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in an app update or at the Terms URL.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
